Another option is to have betting. Some people don’t like this idea, but my students sure did!

All you need to do is have the losers start betting on which student will get tossed out next, or which student will win overall. You can have little paper coins for this like I did, or you can just have some kind of punishment or reward, such as no homework or students doing something silly in front of everyone.

It’s fun, I’ve tried it, and it works. It’s just another fun idea that might make your day a little more hassle-free.

7 – Flashcard Fights

I actually got this idea one night when I was thinking of my old mini-flashcards. See, I had regular-sized flashcards put into smaller versions, primarily with the digital copies on the computer. That way I could get about 15 of them on one 8.5” x 11” piece of paper.
